2012 was a watershed moment for co-operative businesses everywhere. As we say goodbye to the UN International Year of Co-operatives we welcome the start of the Co-operative Decade. By working together as a global movement co-operatives have a bright future – according to the Blueprint for a Co-operative Decade, developed by the International Co-operative Alliance which represents the globe's 1 billion co-operative members – by 2020 the co-operative form of business can become the fastest growing form of enterprise on the planet.
