Co-operatives in Tasmanian have begun planning a conference for late 2012, to bring together the co-operative sector, academics, decision-makers and interested general public. A steering committee is underway with plans for the conference.

NSW Farmers Fed Supports IYC 2012

A motion unanimously adopted at the Annual Conference of the NSW Farmers Federation called for greater awareness of the ‘co-operative option' and the economic and social impacts of co-operatives, credit unions and mutual business in the 2012 UN declared International Year of Co-operatives.
