The National Steering Committee is pleased to share the release of the official logo for the 2012 International Year of Co-operatives (IYC 2012).

The logo depicts seven people, representing the seven co-operative principles, holding up a building block and illustrating the theme of the International Year - "Co-operative enterprises build a better world".

The National Steering Committee has provided a hyphenated version of the official 2012 logo and graphic tagline below. Non-hyphenated versions of the logo are available on the UN official site for IYC 2012.

United Nations Logo Guidelines

While the National Steering Committee is making the logos accessible, Australian co-operators should still follow the United Nations logo use guidelines to maintain the integrity of the IYC2012 logo. Please review the guidelines before using the logo as this document details proper uses and design parameters for the logo and graphic tagline. The National Steering Committee is committed to working in co-operation with the UN and the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) to maintain the integrity of the 2012 logo.
